Yamamoto Research Coletix is a dietary supplement based on red-yeast rice (monascus purpureus), with gamma oryzanol and coenzyme Q10. The product provides a 200mg daily dose of red-yeast rice titrated at 5% in monacolin K (10mg/dose), which contributes to the maintenance of normal levels of cholesterol in the blood (the beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 10 mg of monacolin K from red-yeast rice preparations). Coenzyme Q10 is a substance found in human tissue and is involved in the transfer process of the cell’s electrons.
